Making It Possible to Take Part
Music shouldn't stop at the door.
We know that getting to a rehearsal or a concert isn't always as simple as just turning up. A step at the entrance, an unclear seating plan, or just not knowing what a venue is actually like before you arrive — any of it can be the difference between coming along and staying home.
So wherever we reasonably can, we choose venues with step-free access. We think about seating, about how a space works for our audiences and our singers, and we try to be upfront about what a venue offers before you get there — not after.
We're a small, independently-run organisation, and we won't pretend every venue we use is perfect, or that we can solve every access need on our own. But we'd rather tell you honestly what's in place than make promises we can't keep.
If there's something that would make it easier for you to join a rehearsal, come to a concert, or get involved with a school session — get in touch before the day. Tell us what you need. We'll do everything reasonably in our power to make it work.
Music is better with more people taking part. We want to make sure that's actually possible.
